My dads vectra C

Been busy on my dads car the past couple off wks..... so here's what i been up too inbetween doin mine..

well i been promising my dad now for some time i wud clean his car as he always likes how mine looks after ive done it..

its a 3 yr old SRi 1.8 on an 06 plate, and tbh i dont think its ever been cleaned properly, has a few war wounds, but im glad with the out come, even more so is my Dad and stepmum

so here it is

so gave it a rinse, then snowfoamed and left for 10mins



Then rinsed off, and clayed, then foamed again left for 10 mins, then washed usin 2 bucket method


quite filthy




then dired off, and applied a coat of swisswax onyx:thumbs:, done all windows in/out, trimmed all plastics/rubbers/seals. waxed wheels/dressed tyres.

gave the bay a quick wipe over


then hovered and wiped down inside













not totally happy, bit more detailing needs doing,in nooks and crannys, but not bad considering..

He's been mithering me for some time to paint them, so here goes, newt special as we've all seen painted calipers, BUT i am more pleased with how the wheels came up..
used my new redberry wheel cleaner from chemical guys, no instructions with it, so i diluted it anyway..did a crackin job, used my new wheel brush too

cleaned inner arch plastics while wheels were off


while paint was drying i cleaned the wheels..omg they were dirty on the inside





finished, only had rear decals which fit perfect. only had 3 tho
then quick wash and wipe, as wax was still good from last wk

next up he wants an smd conversion

why did you use your old pants to dry it could you do mine before Billing?
